SIMPLE TIPS TO ACHIEVING YOUR GOALS

There are six simple steps to achieving your goals are achieving them well! Today I'm going to tell you what they are and feel free to let me know what some of your goals for this are in the comments below!

                                                             Photo: pinterest.com

1. Start with a list! Start with a list of things you would like to achieve this year. Ovbiously you are going to want to keeps things pretty realistic but don't forget to challenge yourself either! If writing a list of things you would like to achieve over the year is a bit scary then you can always start with daily to do list and then build your way up to weekly or even monthly lists. Writing a list means you can physically see your goals and once you have achieved them you can put a massive tick next to them! Feel proud of yourself when you achieve your goals, it's something you should totally be proud of!

2. Prioritise! Make sure you know whats more important to you! Make sure you are doing things throughout the day that are working towards that goal.

3. Pick one goal at a time! Working on one goal at a time means that you can you can really focus on this goal without getting stressed about other things you would like a achieve well at, and hopefully you'll get the results you wanted!

4. Keep up with your opportunities. You may be thinking this si a bit of a weird one and what does that mean but all it means is take those opportunities you are offered because you may never get them again but also they may help you achieve the things you've always wanted to! And maybe not this years goals but you never know about the future! My main tip for you about opportunities is, if it interest you then what's stopping you?

5. Do you feel like you're hitting the wall? Does it feel like you aren't really getting anywhere even though you're working hard? Maybe it's time you reflect on your goals? Are they the right goals for me? Did I set realistic goals? Maybe you just need to change a few things or set some new goals? Now there's nothing wrong with that??

6. Completing and achieving your goals. Once the end of the year rolls around it's important to reflect on how your year has been, reflect on your goals, did you achieve them? What can you do better next year? I recommend if you're still at school or if not maybe do thid every 3-4 month, just reflect, have you been productive?

THE ULTIME BATH

Bath time is you time and it's important you make the most of the time! It's important that your you time is as relaxing as possibly!

                                                              Picture: pinterest.com

1. Essentials: A bath bomb, candles, a cup of tea or coffee, magazines and any essentials oils you like to add to your bath!

2. Scented Oils and Bath Bombs: Not going to lie, my favourite kind of bath bombs are from Lush! The scents are amazing, they are so relaxing and soothing!

3. Cellphone: Turn off all your devices or don't take them into the bathroom with you, grab a magazine with you instead! Soical media can add to stress and when you're in the bath you want to be relaxing.

4. Lights, Water & Temperature: This is personal preference but I think to have a lights off with candles going, idealy would want the water hot but not to hot and you want to the bathroom to be warm when you get out of the bath as well but I don't know about you after a while I like to open the windows in the bathroom to let some fresh air in and I like the idea of this because the fresh air will wake you up a little more too.

5. Music: If you're going to be listening to music in the bath you want something calming and classical, something that will help turn off all those busy thoughts going on inside your head at that time of night.

6. Snacks: I always like to take a cup of tea with me into the bath, a hot drink is so soothing and nice and warm inside of the body!

7. Facemasks: Facemasks are great for the ultimate baths, chuck your hair in a messy bun and put a face mask on before you get into the bath! By the time you're ready to get out of the bath your mask would have done it's magic!

8. Enjoy: Enjoy your relaxing time in the bath! It's important you take this time to rewind from the day, reflect on your day and ask yourself what you can do to make tomorrow a better day than today?

9. Bathrobes: You're going to want a nice fluffy warm bathrobe for when you get out of the bath! Something you can suggle into to keep nice and warm!

10. Afterwards: Afterwards, moisturise, put deordant on, finish my skincare, I ususally will then turn a YouTube video on and drink more tea and just get ready for bed!

I hope this has incouraged some of you to take more time to yourself, it'd definitley important!

LUSH HAUL

Lush, who doesn't like Lush! I went into Lush over the weekend a picked up a few bits and pieces and I thought I would also mention some of my favourites I picked up around Christmas time, and if you like the sound of those you will still be able to find them in store beacuse they aren't Christmas limited aditions.

1. Rub Rub Rub: Rub Rub Rub is hands down one of the best shower scrubs I have ever used! It leaves your skin feeling silky smooth, it's a mineral rich sea salt which is delicately frangranced with jasmine, it smells so much like the beach and summer, I love it! The size shown in the photo above is a sample size I picked up from my local Lush store around Christmas time and there still plenty of use in it yet! You only need the smallest amount and it does trick! I personally use the scrub on my arms and elbows as well as any small dry areas on my legs! Overall I love this product and it's definitely on my re-purchase list! For 330g, it's $17.90

2. Ro's Argan Body Conditioner: Ro's Argan Body Conditioner is a nourishing argan oil with an exquisite rose scent which isn't to strong but enough to be calming. The rich conditioner leaves your skin feeling silky and heavenly! This product goes hand in hand with the oner above, when using both together to get skin as soft as a babies bottom, no lie! Again, as shown in the picture above, this is a sample size which I picked up from my local Lush store around Christmas time as well. ahowever the full size of this is slightly more expensive so if I could ever manage to budget for it then I would definitley re-purchase it! For 225g, it's $39.90

3. Think Pink Bath Bomb: In the picture shown above you can see three bath bombs sitting in the back ground, the bright pink on is the 'Think Pink' bath bomb! This bath bomb is complete with pink confittio hearts, it's one that will definitely make you feel loved! This bath bomb has lavender oil in it, so it's a good one for before bed, making you feel relaxed and sleeply. Again, I'm impressed with products and would definitely re-purchase! $6.50 each.

4. Butterball Bath Bomb: Well what can I say, the Butterball Bath Bomb leaves your skin feeling soft, moisturised, it's just amazing! Butterball has a delicate Vanilla fragrance to it, so relaxing! It's just perfect after one of those stressful days at school or work!

5. Honey Bee Bath Bomb: Last not most definitely not least, the Honey Bee Bath Bomb! This is the one in the photo that looks a oatmeal colour! This bath bomb is sweet, soothing and cleansing! Relax with this soothing bath bomb which contains honey, aloe vera and rhassoul mud! The scent again is one of those calming one, I just can't explain it, it smells homely and if I could buy a candle in the scent I would be extremely happy!

That is it for my mini Lush haul today! I hope you all enioyed it and maybe you're going to try something new out! I wouldn't mention these products if I didn't generally like them, so i hope if you try them, you like them too!

Let me know in the comments below what your top three favourite products are from Lush!

UNIQUE MONTHLY FAVOURITES

Today I thought I would do another monthly favourite blog post with a bit of a twist. So I came across while reading through some of Zoellas old blog posts, these series of questions and I thought it would be a good way for you guys to find out a few of my favourite products and places at the moment!

1. What it your current fashion obsession?
My current fashion obsession would have to be oversized comfy jumpers! It's coming into winter over here and when you get home from school you just want to pull on a pair of tights and comfy jumper. However I also like that you can really nice 'fashionable' jumpers and you can totally get away with wearing one out into town in the winter!

2. What is your current makeup obsession?
My current makeup obsession would hands done have to be my Maybelline Fit Me ConcealerI . I know I've talked about this concealer before and I think it's featured in a favourites before but it's just so moisturising and has an amazing coverage. This concealer is great for under the eyes and blemishes as well.

3. What is your current skincare obsession?
My current skincare obsession 110% has to be rosehip oil! Rosehip oil has helped my skin so much over the last week. It helped clear up my problemed areas on my face and it helps lock in the moisture and I think it leaves your makeup looking flawless!

4. What are you wearing today?
It's currently Sunday when I'm writing this blog post so I'm currently wearing a pair of skins and a oversized jumper, just some comfy clothes for sure!

5. Hair?
My hair is just tied back in a messy bun.

6. Do you nap alot?
This is an interesing question because it does depend on the kind of day I've had. If I've had a really stressful day at school  and I have only managed to get 4 hours sleep the night before, if I've had an anxiety attack aswell I'll always feel tired after I've had one then yes I probably will nap in the afternoon once home from school but if I've had a really good day and I feel like still pretty energised then I generally won't and just go my homework straight away.

7. Why is today special?
It's not really, it's Sunday which means I have school tomorrow ):

8. What would you like to learn?
I love learning new things, whether it's about someone, so a friend or family memeber or if it's at school and I'm learning something new there. However I would really love to learn sign language! I remember taking a course at primary school learning all the different symbols and bits n pieces, so I would love to fill in the bits a can't rememeber.

9. What's for dinner tonight?
That's a very good question, I'm unsure at the moment but it'll probably be a chicken salad!

10. What are you listening to right now?
No Type by Rae Sremmurd

11. What is your favourite kind of weather?
Ah I love summer because I love the heat but in middle of summer it can get extremley hot here so I'm going to have to say autumn kind of weather, it's still warm but it has that winter chill about it.

12. What is the last thing you brought?
2 pairs of fluffy bed socks, 1 pair in grey and the other in teal (:

13. What are your essentials when traveling?
Depending on the length of the trip and how I'm getting to my destination will depend what I'll have on me. Generally I'll have a water bottle, some snacks, my iPhone, my iPad, my general hangbag essentials, I also may have some makeup wipes on me, my pillow, a sleep mask and definitly my headphones!

14. What is your style?
Depending on where I'm going, am I staying at home, running a few errands or maybe going out? Generally it's comfy but chic.

15. What is a challenging goal at the moment?
Personally for me at the moment it's the small things, I'vr recently gone off track with my mental health so things are a bit tough but I'm getting back there slowly.

16. What are some of the things you can't live without?
Friends, family of course but to be honest I would be pretty lost without my iPhone, I rely on my phone quite a bit!

17. Thoughts on the person who tagged you in this?
No one tagged me in this however I did find this on Zoe's (Zoella) blog! I love Zoe's videos they are so inspiring and they just generally put you in a good mood! Her vlogs are always uplifting, I love them! Her YouTube channel is definitely worth a look, I think you'll fall in love with it just like I did!

18. If you could have a house totally paid for and fully furnished where woud you want it to be?
Ah, this is a hard one! Of course there are lots of places I'd love it to be but I've always loved the look of Brighton, London! Definitley a place by the beach, I think would be amazing!

19. What's your favourite holiday spot?
Oooo, I'm not sure! I haven't been anywhere out of my own country but I'd have to say Auckland is a really nice place and I have family I can visit when I go up there but also Nelson which I know I've just moved here but I really do love it here! There are so many beautiful things to do here and so many beautiful things to see!

20. What was your childhood like?
Really good, so many amazing memories! I really do miss being that little though!

21. What would you like to get rid of if you could?
Simple, my anxiety and depression! I wouldn't just do this for myself I would do it for everyone suffering with a mental illness! I've been to hell and back and I don't wish that upon anybody at all.

22. What are you most excited for?
School holidays in less than a week, yaaaaaay! Also my birthday which from today is in 35 days!

23. If you could go anywhere in the world in the next hour where who it be?
Manchester, England for sure!

24. What countries have you visited?
Absoulety none at all! I will definitley get there one day and there are so many places I want to visit so it'll definitley happen!

25. Top five favourite apps at the moment?
Not including all the basic soical media apps like Twitter, Instagram, YouTube etc becausing I'll always be loving them but recently I have been loving Pinterest, the game 94%, daily horoscopes, airbnb and the game Tiny Towers!

That's it for today's blog post guys! I hope you enjoyed finding out more about my current favourites! I thought this was quite a unique way of doing a monthly favourites so let me know what you think?
