Being creative is a journey that's constantly growing and changing, and I don't feel like there is ever only one way to be creative. We're all creative in our own unique ways and I think anybody who does anything even slightly creative whether it's in their personal or professional life will know the feeling of wanting more, constantly wanting to better themselves and their skill base. I wanted to open up a discussion about what we do daily that requires some kind of creativity and how we can incorporate that more into our daily lives.
Never Say You Can't
Telling yourself that you can't do something is never going to end well as we're all so much more capable than we give ourselves credit for. It doesn't matter how long it takes you to achieve the thing you want to do, just making a start and pushing past your fears is all that matters in the long run.
Challenge The Way You Do Things Already
Getting stuck in a comfortable rut is something that I find myself in way to often but not just in my creative work but also when it comes to things such as makeup, the clothes I choose to wear, and my day to day routine because once you find something that works why would you change it? But I find changing even the smallest thing is always refreshing. Stepping outside your comfort zone is always hard to start with and never feels quite right at first but once you learn to embrace the change it starts to feel pretty amazing.
